Internally Regulated Alternator:

This One Was Sent In By: Bubba

After being stuck at a stoplight due to a dead battery and loss of all power I was in need of a new alternator. When at the parts store I decided to convert to an internal regulated alternator instead of the old external piece. For twenty bucks I purchased the alternator(63Amp) and two dollars for the new styled pig tail. To by-pass the external regulator just use two wires with male plugs and jump the plug that goes to the regulator. You plug the first slot into the third and the second into the fourth and this will work from either side of the plug. Needless to say my battery stays charged and my lights are brighter.
