that is a nice score , could fit the extra tires to a small trailer
seen a couple of pickupbeds and pickupframecombo's converted to a trailer painted the same way as the truck pulling it and fitted with the same rims usually had a barbeque and a cooler mounted inside for tailgate parties

i was looking at the magazine articles on the wall, and the green and white truck, and the red/white one have similar paint jobs, so i will seperate it the same way, electric blue on top, still undecided on white/silver/or charcoal on bottom, and right at the back under the drop do a simple tribal flame coming off the two tone, drawing is almost done, have it for you guys tonight ;)

the last one kinda looks like your drawing???? hahaa

Re: 1987 Chevy Silverado project

would use the colours of the bottom truck and the paintsceme of the orange one at the top , the swooping lines look better to me then the sharpish lines of the middle one
the only thing i dont like at the top one is the upsweep line between the orange and the white near the grille , if it was me i would sweep down from the upper corner of the grille and getting the sweep about mirror the curve of the bonnet to about the center of the front wheel

Yes sir! :metal: I think I like that alot. GM put a nice Gray on the 2010 Sierra 1500 called Storm Gray. (Might be the same as the Cyber Gray on the Vette, but not sure.) It is a nice rich gray with some blues in it. Would compliment the bright blue real well. I can get you a code at work tomorrow if you are interested.

I like the new look a ton better!! Imo, the new split of the two colors fits well! The new black of the dodge chargers would look sik! It has tons of metal flop in it and would bring out the green and compliment the blue! It was the color used on the bottom section of colby elliots red & black c-10! The mopar paint code is pxr and it is called brilliant black crystal! Check into this color!!

so far, the suburban was a great investment, uncle left oil can under the hood and it got on fire, all it burned was shroud, power steering hoses belt and a few wires, it sat and sat, finally, he told me 200 bucks and its mine, great deal, also has new crate vortec 350 and new 700r4, with less than 3000 miles, new alternator a/c compressor starter, everything, i think it paid off, and my 82 gets a 91 clip :metal:

i WANT THAT PULLEY SYSTEM! lol i hav an 88 chevy k1500 an took off everything on the front of the motor an need the serpentine system with no ac an no emissions or i mite go with the old vbelt sytem to eliminate it

id have to give a no, and a yes, been super bust with school 8-3 and work 4-11 that i havent had time to do much else besides work on the truck (which is a good thing) and my el camino is ready to spray so i have been busting a** on the truck to get as much done because spraying the elcamino will pull me off a couple days, blocking the truck the first time i found TONS of small things we missed, which is commn when you start off with what i did, but its alot straighter now, and has been blocked and primed again! i did look at the color and i love it! im either using it or a HOK orion silver on bottom, but we'll see, got a few pics for yal as well.. :)

As Borat would have said about your progress..."vedy nice!" As far as gray vs Orion Silver, I think the Gray fits better. The Orion Silver is just too light. I think it is going the "other way" from what you started with.
