That is one way to keep stuf from rolling around in your bed.

Looks like he doesn't have a tailgate.
So the 'Rake' may be his only option for keeping stuff in the bed. |

Re: Best "Rake/Stance" for a Hot Rodded 60-66 C10?
Who makes the best springs and shocks to get the best ride? Was gonna go air but too expensive at the moment. Is it better to use rear drop springs, or is using blocks better.

Re: Best "Rake/Stance" for a Hot Rodded 60-66 C10?
From what I have heard it is best to go with drop spindles in the front and use drop coils to do the rest. In the rear go with 2 inch blocks first and them do the rest with drop coils. By doing this you will maintain the most amount of suspension travel. Even if you do not decide to lower it more with drop coils it is still a good idea to get new coils and shocks. If you go low enough in the rear you will probably want to get shock relocation brackets because the angle of the shock will be to grate when you lower it. If you get drop coils you will also need shorter shocks.

My '60. Has 4" drop spring out back and torsion bars cranked down up front. I have the 2 1/2" drop spindles in the garage right now, just waiting on some cooler weather out here to put them on.

Re: Best "Rake/Stance" for a Hot Rodded 60-66 C10?
Where do most people get their drop block for the rear, I am wanting a 4" drop in the rear and 2.5-3" drop on the front, the front I will just be buying drop spindles with stock springs, the rear. I looked at cpp springs, but want a really good quality spring that isn't too harsh?

I've used Early Classis Enterprises 4/6 kit plus a front sway bar on my trucks for many years now, and I'm very happy with the ride quality and handling.

Re: Best "Rake/Stance" for a Hot Rodded 60-66 C10?
I have cpp drop coils in the rear but I can not comment on the ride quality because I realized that my shocks were at full extension at ride height. I have just recently had them relocated but have not had a chance to drive the truck sense. I have heard a lot of complaints about cpp customer service but have not had that problem my self.

That is one massive rake. I think you would need velcro seats. But vary nice rendering.
