With a 5.5" BS and 295/40 how close is the inside of the tire to the bedside under the wheel tub area? (inside edge, not the outer edge I mean..)

Is there any room there at all? Could the tires go bigger (not saying for yours, but the question for mine. I have 295/45 for mine, not mounted yet.

thanks.

Well guys I have been busy to say the least.....I have decided to leave my 72 truck alone and as is ......in the meantime I came across a deal on a 67 SB I just couldn't pass up I will use a full PB touring mild suspension with accuair some of the parts I had purchased for my blue 72 but will be using on the new build.....My daughter is helping me on this build so she is graduating this year so we will call this build "THE GRADUATE"........I have attached a couple of pics of the start...you can view the build here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=556681

Congrats on the many pics found taken at last weekends coverage of the Lone Star Throwdown show.

There are a couple other websites that also have coverage from LST.

Does the truck in the middle belong to a board member?
