Do they use "Fbody" style fans? That's what my wiring harness is built for. |
Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
With some modifications you can use the factory fan shroud, or we have an electric fan and shroud kit. My guess is you would have to do some modifications to accept an F body fan set

What the easiest way to order? |
Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
Our fans will either have a plastic Molex connector, or they will have bare ends. I recommend using weather pack connectors as they are able to be easily disconnected if needed and are weatherproof. To order, simply send me a private message with your email address, ZIP code, and what you want to order, along with what engine and transmission you have Etc

Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
I have a '70 C20 with a 402 (bored, but don't know how much), 400 trans, AC and tow a 6000 pound travel trailer. I'll be pulling the engine out for a rebuild soon, and was wondering about an aluminum radiator. It currently runs pretty hot, so I'm going to replace the fan clutch with a higher duty one. It has a 4-row brass radiator in it at the moment. I may go to a 454 if this engine can't be bored again. Sleeving is out of the question, given the cost, if it can't be bored again. What do you have for this application
Thanks, Steve |

Bump to the top for RnD.
You said you can do both ports on passenger side and sized for the LS motors, by chance are they 1-1/4 top and 1-1/2 bottom? If not, thats going to be on my request, no trans adapter ports either. I am getting excited! |
Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
We can get various sizes depending on what you need. Just make a note when ordering and we'll confirm.

Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
After multiple emails, left voice messages, and private messages on here I ended up having to post in this thread for him to check his email, VM, and PMs then get back to me. He did get back to me pretty quickly after that, what I was told and have no reason not to believe was at the time he had been out of town and was also having trouble getting the correct size cores from his supplier. I ran up against a deadline and had to go elsewhere but that happens sometimes in this game of old trucks and custom parts.

Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
Steve, your radiator is still about a week or two out. I wonder if my emails are going to spam / junkmail? I'll send a test email in a few with 'radiator' as the subject

I would not hesitate to run an RnD Fab radiator and have no ill will towards them, things just didn't work out for us. Edit: fast2002 the forum won't let me send you a PM. If you search for my build thread in the 67-72 forum you can see what/who I went with. |
