9-17 nothing exciting. Got bottom end put together. Had to modify my 3jaw puller to get in there to remove the crank gear. Gotta clear coat some parts, replace the valve seals and put heads on.

Daily driver needs work bad, so its putting a damper on this build as of now.

Not yet on the COE, it was really ruff, waiting to see about the title. If he will take payments I may do it. The dash is rotted out, doors, floor, and about every other area. Plus its missing front fenders (eeeek). Needs work, but nothing I couldn't handle. It is a wrecker which is cool, but I'd be putting it on a modern chassis if I get it.

FYI, the best and only thing that will make a dirty aluminum piece look like new is Turtle Wax Rim Clean. Spray it on and let it sit a minute without drying and then pressure wash it off. It works amazing. It will wreck paint and will etch the aluminum if left on too long. I use it on quad engines mostly.

I'll have to try that.

Well engine build has come to a halt. 1. Need to do alot of work on my daily 2. I want to get cab and chassis painted bf it gets cold, so I mate chassis on frame for good, so I can final assembly over the winter.

I got the top end all moched. Won't take much more to get it finished and fired up.

Nice work. Love the colour and that the engine is not all blue.

thanks guys, yah I wanted the waterpump blue, but didn't feel like taking the pulley off. I painted the waterneck blue though. Its all about balance. Thats why I chose red plug wires over the blue.

another 2 month hiatus is over! Been so busy working on my daily driver and house projects. Truly never ending. But... I must say 2016 so far has been the best year I'v had in such a long time. I'v accomplished alot this year. Working on Geronimo has been such a fun learning experience and not much stress so far (knock on metal). Today I jumped back on the engine. Last I left off, it was just moched up for photo. I have to put heads on, intake and plumb it up to fire. As you all know, its much more work than it sounds.

A while back as many of you know, lower50's came through on his way back to Canada. First time Iv personally met a board member. We had a great time.

Here is a pic of the new fencing I did and re-arranging of most my projects. Not seen in the pic are my 51' and another truck and parts car. It was alot of work clearing this out and doing the fencing etc. So that kept me from working on Geronimo also.

Lastly, I have a COE I'v been looking to possibly get. So, if all works out that will be the next build after I get Geronimo done next year. Hope to have pics for you guys soon, but just nothing too much for a while. its winter and I'm limited on stuff to do since I can't prep anything for paint and coatings etc. I'd be super pumped if I can get the engine fired bf xmas.

Great pics! All the other things take a lot of time for sure. I like that fence and the overview of your project herd. Oh and congrats on the COE...

The true scale of that yard is amazing. Henry has a great collection of old iron, I was quite jealous when I saw it all. Waiting to hear details on this COE!! Good luck on getting the motor fired up. Oh and if any of you like coffee lol Henry's coffee is fantastic!! Also the T-shirts are very nice.

I am also real curious what you can do w/COE.

well, I don't want to post any pics of the COE until I seal the deal. It has a decent patina and seemed to be somewhat solid, until he sent me some pics of the inside and it looked ruffer than I hoped. So he is suppose to send more pics. Its a big jump for me since I can't see it in person and would have to have it shipped. But I think, if I don't get this one, I may just save up some more and get one I really want. I would bag it and do a flatbed with stake sides. Not sure if I'd make it a full car hauler or not. I'd go EFI on it as well. The other big issue I have is..... I prolly couldn't couldn't get it into any of my garages, so... I'd have to build a taller one, which I have plans to do. So next year is going to be a full plate of projects as well. I'm trying to stay super focused on Geronimo however. I have had it for for a year but only worked on it for 5 months totaling about 200 hrs.

what a great shot of the yard, western pa appalachian fall beauty and old iron in one. and from a guy who has built a few fences, your fence is really nice!

99, is the COE located where a buddy / member could look it over?

thanks joedoh, here are some more fencing pics from my house I bought back in April. I did all the fencing, man doors and big gates. there are 3 entrances, each has atleast 9' or greater gate, plus mandoor. This is why I stopped working on Geronimo back in spring. Not to mention all the interior projects I started. I also started this playhouse, still not finished but next year I'll finish it and do my 10x12 shed! and hopefully another garage out at the farm (where I work on my projects).

Advance design. I doubt anyone is close to the Indiana area, and really for the price, I can't complain much. I could easily pay over 4k for a decent body and thats just not in my budget so to work with less is what I do and have to deal with. Nice thing about this is... I have documented title and vin plate photos!
