Your shroud setup looks great, did you buy a new sending unit? I ask because I did and the new one reads +30 degrees hotter when tested. If not your probably right it's the gauge and I think your temp guess is pretty close on the stock gauge readings.

Thanks Brett.
The sender is new from napa, But since the gauge works and then pegs out and then works again I am thinking the gauge...

Story continues of the cursed truck. The driver side muffler starts making a rattling sound. So guess what. Yes a baffle in the muffle came loose. Summit is sending another one.
Sigh!!! (Input Hillary joke here)!!!!hahaha.

My truck is a 75 but it would do the same thing after I had put a new sending unit.

I think it's funny. My son washed his truck and took it out to take pictures. I am glad he is excited to drive it and take care of it.

Hey guys. Started the fi tech install Saturday. First thing I found was the clamp mounts for the FCC did not secure the FCC. I had to trim the area between the bolt to tighten up enough.

TB installed and it looks big on there. I do have to adjust the kick down cable. The throttle linkage is a little different then the Holley. So I will be making a new linkage. But it is working fine for now just a little crooked.

We had to install an air cleaner spacer because the low profile air cleaner hit the TB.

I did not have any issues with the clamps for my fuel pump I installed in my car. Fit real good. very cool set up.

Re: Project "Hulk Jr"

Hey David, how is it going? the system works pretty good.but needs some tuning. I will be calling FI Tech today because the idle is not right and the Fault code reads P0202 #2 injector and will not clear. I also have to readjust the kick down cable.

FI Tech 400hp with FCC startup
Here is a video I took before I adjusted the idle it was at 1200rpm after warm up. About 1800 cold.
