Yep, 1 too many zeros. Anyway - it's not a custom camper. That seems to be what anyone selling a 3/4 ton truck claims these days. Truck does seem pretty original, even has the 71-only black ring on the grille surround that has faded away on most by now. Not a bad truck, assuming the price is a misprint $4100 about right for its condition, maybe even a little high. But who knows.

In 71, a Custom Camper would have had the CustomCamper20 emblem on the fender, and this one still wears its Cheyenne. In 72, if it were the same truck (and also actually a real Custom Camper), the Cheyenne emblem would be present and the script "Custom Camper" nameplate would be above the door handle - a 72-only thing (for Chevys). So either the seller doesn't know he doesn't have a Custom Camper or he does and he wants the buyer to think he has one... Never know which, best to be informed. Perhaps that bit of knowledge, when sharing with the seller, might knock the price down to 40K :)

Another odd one. 69 on a 91 frame with the early Ebrake handle. Looks nice and clean at $12000 would you buy it? Plus inquiring minds want to know what the big metal plate on the frame doing?

Sorry everyone.

not sure about that plate, maybe crack repair or doubler plate for something inboard of the frame?? add the link to the ad and I'll ask..

managed to combine two full size truck models 22 years apart yet couldn't come up with anything better to support the upper radiator hose?

for us smoggers, '91 would be out of the question for most of us.. guess it depends which way it's registered or legally..

I think that is a Buick engine, looks like a GM distributor, alternator, and Q-jet.

68 4x4 BBC great looking truck. Only $9500! Sure looks like a smokin' deal from here. Unless door speakers are a deal breaker.

Pretty sure it's not a 68. None the less at $4500 looks like a bargain. Plus it runs on propane. Less cost of ownership. Less room to haul stuff.
