Thanks guys, the ol' girl wasn't too happy with me that day, but I really didn't want to make a 4th trip so I loaded her to the top.

Well, you had to do what You had to do. Nothing Says Work like a Square Bodied GM Truck leading the Way.

Very Nice Pictures Remon. My 73 never came with the Trim. But then again the bed isn't the original ether.

Might as well throw mine into the mix. It a 74' C20 camper special. Needs some body and wheel care but it runs great. Has 10,000 miles on a new factory engine. Thinking about dropping it some, flat black paint job and some chrome rims.

One thing MWS1994, it has patina that more are just making up and is solid.

That is a good looking truck, not a color combo often seen.

Yeah it's very nice. I'm looking to get one this color very soon so I was curious, other than this truck, if there were anymore like it on here. I've only seen 3 trucks this color ever.

Artwork for my new t-shirt designed by my talented 11 YO son on PowerPoint. he used a pic of my truck, applied a cartoon effect and then made it black and white. looks cool on a gray t-shirt. :chevy:

I have a question for yall, How many 73 GMC/ Chevy 3/4 ton trucks came with 3 fuel tanks? Because my 73 GMC 2500 Super Custom has 3. And I have never came across another like mine. Just an up date guys. I replaced the alternator, spark plugs and coil pack. Mine still wont start. I forgot to replace the starter.

My close friend got this from the original owner a few years back for a few hours worth the work, I got it from him this winter for a good deal, finished a 7" drop did a oil change and tune up, and i've put about 3,000 miles on it, not bad for working 2-3 months straight out of state! and now looking for tires wheels a new interior got new mirrors, few holes to fill and some gold flake metallic black paint and next year, 502 ramjet and 5spd, or a 496 out of this motor :metal::metal::metal::metal:

nice trucks on here guys!

It was a axle flip in the rear, and standard 3'' drop westernchassis drop spindles in the front, with about 2 full rungs cut off the springs, should be somewhere around should be close to 9'' drop in the rear and between 7-8 in the front, will measure when i get back home, so excited to drive it never thought about it.

not sure on the year on the military truck, also many of you followed this thread awhile back

now you can see MY progress on it :metal:

Yea they are pretty cool trucks, my To Do list is pretty long after driving it a couple days. I figure after a couple of trips to the salvage yard it will be good to go.
