Fresh paint - not always a good thing. My imagination or are the cab lights mounted backwards? Could be a nice truck if the bodywork was done well - just add emblems and go.

Yeah Jocko, a guy could sell the tow hooks for 500$ and get the truck for 3500$

71 K10 Cheyenne Super $13.9K Possibly had an ol 70's add-on vinyl roof that's now long gone?? - and possibly not a Super, check the SPID etc to be sure - I'm guessing it was born a Cheyenne. Missing the chrome tailgate handle and Supers never came with black interior if a bench was ordered. Chassis sure is clean.
https://kansascity.craigslist.org/ct...581082730.html

EDIT: Oops, I guessed wrong :) It's just a Custom that's all dressed up. Seller has SPID on ebay and some additional pics, just stumbled across it, BIN is $14.5K. It wasn't originally a 4x4, was swapped onto a K10 chassis. Sorry for the red herring...

The red 71 K/10 super is mine. Not a real Cheyenne super, and not an original 4x4. I built this 18 years ago

I knew that was your truck

You did a great job building it, that’s the way to go...using the best original parts to make what you want. I hope you get your asking price!

Joe it was your cleverly ambiguous ebay seller name that threw me off...

I saw the ebay ad that had the whole story - then I couldn't find it again, and never made the connection. I KNEW I'd seen it somewhere before. Nice that you included the original pic in the ad.

I like to include all pictures I can, I want people to know I have nothing to hide, I built that truck the way I wanted it.

69 Camper Special looks very nice and original. $10000

https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/...585642903.html

Family owned truck since it was purchased new. The truck is almost all original with 53,831 miles, noting these exceptions: bias ply tires replaced which required new wheels, oil filter converted to spin-on/off, rear suspension air bags added, trailer hitch added, brake controller added, tailgate is missing. Installation of these items are "bolted on" and may easily be removed and returned to stock condition.

Links to pictures and video of engine running may be viewed at the dropbox link below.

70 4x4 short bed in pretty solid shape body wise. $5300

https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/...576166012.html

I have included 24 pictures - PLEASE carefully look at all of them prior to contacting me. I do not want to waste your time or mine! truck has been off the road since 2004, it has a good wrench crate engine with low miles, aluminum intake, headers, etc... the truck has an 8 lug disc brake dana 44 front and an 8 lug dana 60 rear with unknown gear ratios. The wiring needs cleaned up, I simply put a gas can under the hood and jumped a wire to the starter and the truck fired right up and seems to run very well. the fuel pump, power steering pump, etc... are leaking from the years of sitting. it goes into gear and the brakes stop it. it is not road worthy but will drive onto your trailer if you bring a battery. I see no major rust issues, the rockers have some surface rust and floors and cowl are very solid.there is rust in the upper front bed rail {see picture} the fenders and bed corners are trimmed for the tires. The dash has a couple of cut out areas and the seat is torn badly. The winch and winch bumper is NOT included in the sale.It will be removed. {when removing I discovered it was a hydraulic winch and the lines were ran through the power steering pump so you will need to purchase a power steering hose from the pump to the box} I am selling for a friend, I am in no way a chevrolet truck expert, however I own vintage cars and have an understanding of condition. I believe this is a very buildable truck that really is fairly straight and complete. These trucks seem to be popular by looking at online prices. Clear Oregon title. 5,300.00 cash... I do not hear well, so responses will be by text or e-mail.

Went to see this today in Sedona, AZ.
Rear fenders completely rotted out where mounted to steps, doors rusted through, cab corners rusted through, both front inner and outer front fenders replaced, and a huge dent in the hood.

It sold the day he listed it of course.
