Unfortunately, I haven't touched it since I picked it up. I'm kinda a one trick pony, can't multitask if you know what I mean. I do still plan on reworking the harness myself though. will still have to get the pcm reprogrammed by someone. I wonder if any board members are doing this yet? |
Re: 1969 Short Wide
It takes time and patience, I had my PCM flashed by a local Chevy dealer for only $80, but for some reason they wont do it again.....

I am pretty excited to be back on this for the winter months. BTW, I have been picking up parts here and there for the project. Got some pretty good stuff;) My kid is super happy with his 86 so this is going to be my daily driver soon......well in the future. He wants a 67 or 68 so I am kinda on the lookout for another one. here are the pics. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...sin/69-125.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...sin/69-126.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...sin/69-123.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...sin/69-124.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...sin/69-127.jpg |

Wish I had gotten to that before it snowed. With the storm today we are going to set an all time snow fall record for the month of November. No realistic way to get my 69 C20 under cover now. |

Re: 1969 Short Wide
I don't think this one will be completed any time soon, but hey I have to try.
Got a little progress done this weekend. Finished stripping the frame, got it read to be blasted or wire wheel cleaned on the bottom. I would really like to blast it if I can make it happen. I was able to pick up the lower control arm at Pull a part last week. Got them all blasted and primered. (forgot pics). All I need now is some cash to get rolling on this thing. Here are the pics: http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...uck/69-131.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...uck/69-129.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...uck/69-130.jpg |

Thursday I ordered all the new front steering and suspension parts. I still need 2" drop springs for the front. Hope to hit it hard and heavy next week. Hard to believe how slow things go when strapped for cash:waah: always this time of year. |
