I'm going to buy a new fleetside bed. Hopefully we can just color match it to the front.[/QUOTE]

I was looking forward to seeing the stepside...
Great work as always!
Thanks for sharing the build. A great reference for other builders (dreamers like me).

I'm thinking about buying this booster setup from Brother's:

Thoughts?

Will that big booster fit with your tubs?
I'm pretty sure Delmo runs a small diameter booster.

Plus,... I only buy aluminum M/C.
The rusty cast ones don't get my money anymore.

Roger. Do you have the part #'s for what you would put together? (and thanks, I'm being lazy, :D).

Personally I would run a Wilwood M/C with no booster.
(1" bore)
If you want to run a booster, use the 1-1/8" bore.

They come in plain, polished or black.

Run an ebm 9". I had a dual 7", with the older wilwood 1-1/16 MC. I couldn't lock up my tires. I switched it out for the ebm 9", my suburban now locks up the brakes without me putting my foot through the floorboard. I can get better picks of my dads set up tonight. He has the 9", kore3 master, captfab bracket and hills wheelwells.

The EBM Booster I believe is $140, the Kore 3 MC is $80, CaptFab Bracket. I have not bought the prop valve yet but it will be the willwood one. Tobin at Kore 3 says this set up should be awesome with our C5 Brakes.

I really like that bracket vs OEM one.

I met Jason. Don't know if they came with the deal or not, but he bought the seats out of my 2000 Z71 for that project. They're nice seats, they only had 70K on them when he bought them. I wanted a "bench" (2 buckets and a jump seat) and put those in my Z71 and sold Jason my other seats.

At the time, I bought my fleet bed for my truck and he asked me if I wanted to sell my step bed. He said that even though it's nice in the pics he said the step bed was pretty rough on it?

Man... thinking back, that was like 2006 or 07?

Fleet is a good idea. Shouldn't be too hard to match, it's been repainted at least once, right?

Don't want to hijack robs thread but who makes the ebm booster and where can you buy it from. Looks nice.

http://www.mbmbrakeboosters.com/inde...id=13&Itemid=6 - I believe it is PB9513 or PB9514

You can also contact Curt Hill @ Hill's Rod & Custom 925-997-6248. I bought both of mine through him. He might have a couple in stock. On the blazer he built it had a 7" dual, then changed it out for the 9". Huge difference.

Thanks for the pics! I bought the captainfab bracket, but still deciding on the booster and cylinder.

Yeah that has been a while ago! He did a great job collecting parts and we personalized it to our own likes,.

No problem Bennet! I like free flow of info!

A few updates: The BPAutomotive wiring harness should be here today, looking forward to seeing what it looks like and how it installs... more to follow. Installed the captainfab booster bracket, I just need to decide on a booster and mc. We also got the Flaming River column and steering mocked up. We got "lucky" here, as to everything fits perfectly! I also purchased some pressure fittings for the ps rack and will try to get the pump lines built and connected this weekend. We are still 50/50 on whether or not he is goint drive it or sell it. If interested, let me know. Pics!!!

Sweet ride, Rob. Have you looked into how you plan on wiring the fans on your radiator yet?

Great looking truck, but I don't think ours will be quite that nice,.

The wiring harness I'm getting from BPAutomotive has all of that built in. It is even set up to control the A/C.

Have you got the wiring harness back from BPAutomotive yet? I'm curious to hear some feedback. PSI didn't do a/c wiring on mine although I'm sure he would've if I had asked for it? Truck looks great

I should have it in a couple of days and will let you know. I also had Bill pull me a wire for the ODBII gauges and a wire to trigger the performance mode in the transmission.
