Hey Sarah, you know what the blue/white worked pretty dang good the first time. You should do it again! Matching trucks, doesn't get much better than that.

Concerning the door panels, mine are still in the box. Let me know if you'd like some pictures of them for reference. I haven't even taken them out since I'm so far away from that stage of the game!

Mine is a work of automotive construction in slow motion!

Its not just a project - its a life plan!

:waah:

Yeah, what's the color plan? Another modern/classic? Gonna be tough to match/beat Cloud9's scheme. No pressure!

Don't worry, guys.. Square Peg's design is well on it's way! I feel very confident that she will keep up with Cloud 9 just fine! :)

Hey have you looked at this stuff yet? Copper Nickel Brake Tubing! Its soft enough to run for the air lines to make good sealed connections, and yet strong enough to run for brake lines! Polished up a small chunk at the store last night and it some pretty awesome looking stuff!

how much was it ? so it was just a lighter copper look ?

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

$52 per 25 foot roll. And yes it has a light copper look with that chrome tint and shine. I will be using it on my next build!

I used this stuff for the brake lines on my project. From all the research I did, it seems to be the latest and greatest for that application. Also VERY easy to work with. I straightened mine by hand and it came out pretty good, but you might want to invest or find a straightener for a show-worthy project.

You see that copper used as airline in the custom car world alot to pipe their bags with, but in the bigger 3/8" and 1/2" sizes.

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

This stuff comes in every size you could want.... I just had a pic of the 3/16" stuff on my computer ;)

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

seen them use copperline here too but the more thickwalled waterline . central heating stuff with brass couplings , there a bit bulky though
if you make the lines so you can take them out after bending them to fit the blazer you could have them chromed or nickelplated or just powdercoated in the same colour as the car
