and today was one of those mess around and contemplate days. i made one good mirror out of two. i also made this piston shifter knob... now i gotta make another mirror ..

i engraved the numbers and stuff and then i carefully painted in the lines.

all i did was weld a piece of steal to the bottom of the piston then i welded a little nut on so it could screw on. i think its is pretty cool, still needs finishing touches. the good thing is i can put the original one back on when ever i want

Nice work on the doors. Looks like you are going to save some GM sheetmetal. I really like that.

Ya know. Your kickin butt right? :) my filler says 3 to 100 on the can but not much else. I'm a little concerned about getting the mix right.

its just regular filler youd get at napa or an auto parts place. nothing special.

like a freind of mine says "all filler is basically the same"

The stuff I bought has small strands of glass in it. Its supposed to be impervious to moisture.
