The show is an amazing truck and was our original idea to follow. I have followed that truck and its build and concept closely. It is crazy how they lengthened and widened the cab and every panel is custom to the point were most people don't even see it. We decided to go with the 99 cause we could find were anyone had done anything like it be4. But we r very thankful and excited for all the wonderful comments and encouragement. Most important to me is to be going in the right direction. So criticism is also a help to fine tune the build too! Lol

I don't mean this to bash you or anything this truck is going to be hot but why don't you cut apart aftermarket steel instead of vintage parts?

Oh I completely understand where you are coming from with fewer and fewer good trucks left out there. I just already owned the black 67' and the fenders really needed to be replaced on it, had rust on the inner structures. Really just trying to use what we have on hand and can get thru trades to keep costs down. The cab and frame from the 67' have been sold.

I just want to say that I don't feel like anyone at any time is bashing. I actually feel like I would have gotten a little more corrective criticism than I have! Lol. I was told by an old bodyman when I started in this business that when u stop learning u might as well quiet. Everyone out there knows something that I don't and can look at what I'm doing from a totally different view. So I want everyones input! I wouldn't have had Brannon start a post on this site if I didn't respect everyones opinion and input. Anyways keep it coming! Lol

That is interesting about the truck I linked to, I guess I didn't remember reading about how they did it. I was curious what you were going to do when it came to registering it. Makes sense that it would be registered as an 01 though. Keep up the great work!

Same idea, just different execution I think. They named the truck "the Show". It was in a Truckin back in 2010.

I am not trying to discourage you as you said you haven't seen this done. I just thought it might give you some ideas/encouragement that it can be done. Either way. Your truck will be very unique and judging by the work done so far, very well built! Have fun!

Here is the truck you are talking about, which is a great build and a lot of work in itself, just differ direction...
