I'd definitely try Eric. He built a very similar setup for his Sedan delivery that ran great.

Working on straightening out years of dents, and dings! It's worth the effort to use some old gm steel though.:metal: I have the first round of body work done on the left side, and I'm just about done beating on the right side.

Still have a little work to do on the tailgate before I can paint it, but the bed turned out nice.:metal: I'm going to spray the inside of the bed with color matched bedliner.

Awesome Jayson!! I have a new TAC Module and APP Sensor on the way and should be here tomorrow. Hopefully, that'll cure my lack of "zero" throttle response????? Mike

I was lacking throttle response, dead pedal. Cured with new TAC Module. :)

I have been using the tintable raptor liner kits. I really like how user friendly it is, and it looks really nice when it's done.

Mike brought up the 78 today! We got the bed put into place, the paint lines, and body lines all line up like they should, and he is one step closer to getting this old girl back on the road!

you got a good jump on that harem you must be starting! Question: It seems like you've been non stop on these builds for a good while now......still enjoying it? I'm on the other end of the spectrum, still in a holding pattern, wrapping up my concrete pour to build a small shed to free up some space in the garage so I can start my own damn harem!

Did the Corporate Blue color come from a rattle can or did you shoot it w/a gun? Any prep tips on the aluminum heads you care to share?

SCOTI, color came from a rattle-can. I did a basic cleaning of the heads and the degreased them prior to spraying. I painted intake separate from the block/heads.
