Re: off it goes

Ok, this is cool. Can you take a picture of the compartment you were talking about for the air to breath into?

Re: off it goes

nice work!

CHROMAHOLIC 05-07-2013 08:46 PM

Re: off it goes

It's not solid mounted at the intake.....there is a silicone rubber boot there, it doesn't really show up on the picture. As for for blocking off air breather...not sure yet. We have discussed yes and no....going to have a better look at it this weekend...might just run it in the wheel well. It will get more cool air if out in the open.

new tailgate release is in and mounted under bumper where once use to be the license plate light. Works like a charm....it'll be so nice not to have a handle on the tailgate anywhere.

Do you have any more pictures of the set up? Like how the cables come out from behind the taillights? Do you have one perside?

Awesome idea BTW....

Re: off it goes

why not just mount it in the rear under the bed?....is it easily accessible?....amazing fab as usual.

KILLING it man !

Re: off it goes

Not a fan of battery in the rear....shorter the cables the better. Battery will be fairly easy to get at when done, but truthfully how often do you need to get to the battery. I have remote plug ins for positive and negative battery charger hook ups going in a hidden but easy to plug in spot

Work of art man! Any more plans for smoothing out the engine more itself? (different valve covers or custom engine cover?--since the engine bay is soooooo smooth ;))
