lol, you guys crack me up! well, project went for a twist today, bed and tailgate were ready for primer, then my instructor and a few others convinced me, weld it shut, so, i am! had to rip the lights out (not fun at all) and going to redo them after the gate is welded shut!

nice work! id say weld the lights shut as well and have the whole backend of the truck smooth, that looks nice i think. and just mount the lights in the roll pan. either way im sure itll look good

yea, even if the molded lights dont work, im going to use stock replacements, there are too many shaved tailight trucks, i dnt like the look personally, and i love the look of stock tails, and i'll also be running a bumper, i also dont really like the look of a rear roll pan, w/o a front one, so i'll be running bumbers front and back..thanks for the compliments by the way! :D

You know the playa lake at Quaker and the Loop doesn't count as a lake, and I know you can't be referring to Buffalo Pond.

Sweet truck by the way.

That should help to set the truck apart nicely. Not that it will need any help. ;)

Re: 1987 Chevy Silverado project

i would use led lights when glassing the taillight in its as durable as you can get so you whont have to bust them open as often
you can even even get them with the barionet fitting used in normal lights

texasfunk 03-04-2010 06:12 PM

Re: 1987 Chevy Silverado project
