Once again, no progress on this truck. But, I've had life things to get done before I can get on this thing. Had 4 new windows put in our house, and one in the garage. Had to buy a shed to get stuff for the yard out of the garage. I still have to assemble it. Haha I have been working a lot of hours, so my projects are lacking. Anyway, I had a member here do a rendering of the truck. Here's what I hope it to look like when done.

That looks awesome. Love the factory trim. Really sets the truck off.
This is for sale just down the road from me . Really nice truck. I dig the army the look but it's such a nice truck it ashame he didn't make it shinney and add similar trim. Asking 13 k cdn. 350 tbi 400' 205 , 60 f 4:56's |

That's going to look nice. I've never been a fan of that grille but that picture has made me change my mind. :metal: :metal:

That looks sweet! I love that grille but it's super deep. I just picked one up that I'll confirm with here in a few weeks but I don't think there will be enough room with the intercooler and condenser. Pretty sure I'll have to run one of the 75-76, 77-79 or 80 grilles I have lol

Re: 1976 Chevy K30 Crew Cab Short Box Cummins Build
I'm using a fully fabricated Chevy aluminum radiator and a 2nd gen intercooler and I'm planning on cutting out the center of the core support then welding in 2x2 square tubing on either side as supports. So pretty much the same as you. I've done some measuring and it might fit but it will be really close.

I don't think it can be any worse than the 88-91 Burb front ends.

73-74 grille is going to be a snug fit for you but it's definitely possible.

Re: 1976 Chevy K30 Crew Cab Short Box Cummins Build
Tony, sweet! Where's your build thread? Did you have someone build you that fan spacer/adapter? Full time fan, huh? That'll be loud but keep it cool.

Re: 1976 Chevy K30 Crew Cab Short Box Cummins Build
I still haven't made a build thread for it yet. Help me come up with a name for it and I will lol. The people that have said they've ran them say it's really not that bad. I've run solid fans on my gas trucks as well and I don't really hear it. Plus fan clutches never work like they're supposed to unless they're a magnetic type.
The fan hub is made by Flex-a-lite, part # FLX-852 and the fan is a 19" with aluminum blades made by them too # FLX-1719 |

Just got caught up on the Longhorn so I thought I would check this one out. A squarebody by DieselWrencher's got to be cool right? Ryan, are you still building this one?
