Has anyone seen a light blue lowered 66 patina shop truck running around South Western PA.
I've seen it running around Robinson Township. Also saw a pic of it somewhere on the net.

Yes, it is the one!!! Been looking for a while. I saw him at the point, but the light changed and I couldn't say much. Saw him two days later at Moon Park, but no one was around the truck. Is he a member of this site?

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?

I work micro analyzing paint every day. It drives me nuts most of the time looking at finishes harder than any normal person would ever look at them..(that is a good thing and I really like it) But there is something very cool about driving something that you don't have to park three blocks away and keep an eye on because someone who needed allot of room to open a door, dings the paint that took you more than...... (fill in here whatever fits).
I guess the bottom line is I need a different vehicle for every mood I'm in, just like my wife needs.... well, you fill in the blanks, again!! (Dennis Miller Moment)

What can I say, I'm from PGH! I guess what I'm trying to say is: This site is a great place for finding whatever you are looking for. In the few days I've been a member, I have found it to be so much more than I expected! Thanks for this resource!!!

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?

This thread has convinced me that I do not need a new paint job on my truck - what I need is to remove the crappy paint job the PO applied!

Quick question - what are the two eyeballs on the fender of that AEC truck? I have seen them on other trucks, but I am not familiar with the logo.

70 Suburban 10-06-2009 09:53 AM

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?

"moon" the eyeballs are for moon company
