This pic show how I shortened the bumper brackets to pull it closer to the grill.

The front bumper (which I'm using) has been shortened 3" per side, and top cut down by 1", and bumper bolts heads cut off and bolts welded.

I welded the bumper bolts flush with face, then welded the back side, then a large washer was welded to help distrubute the load, and not pull thru.

Grill frame and one bar installed to check fit. Here you can see I have cut the fender. I removed about 1/8" of material, moved out, and welded to maintain a good gap with hood.

Now I'm starting on my preliminary interior set-up. I try to get as much stuff done ahead of time, before I do my final stuff on the cab, in case I need to weld, etc. This is the formed corner for the cab.

Here it has been installed. You can see that I'm using my bracing for attachment points for the interior. If you look close you can see the screws going into the brace.

With the center piece installed. Once everything is covered in material, it will be hard to see the screws. The coverplate at the corner, is for my inside lift handle for the door latch. I know this looks like wainscoting for the kitchen, but with material applied it will look like pleats.

I like the interior a lot. It also gives me some ideas as the interior will be one of the last things that I do.

Where did you get the arm rests from?

I like where you are going with this.

Thanks. Got the arms from Old Dog Street Rods, they have several different sizes and shapes. Love the paint job on your ride, when are you going to drop it:lol::lol:
