This has been a fun build to watch, hard not to like a yellow GMC with a 496! Everything has come together great and your fab work and attention to detail is impressive!

Re: 77 yellow gmc swb

whats the brand of stuff you used on your dash? I picked up some stuff this weekend, and sprayed it on a piece of scrap, left it out in the sun and it faded by the end of the day.

I used the rustoleum brand from walmart , I was able to get the headliner installed tonight , I just need the rear panel cover and make some pedals and the inside will be complete for now,

Also I have had the dash out in the sun for a few hours a couple times and it looks good , you just cant wipe it with anything, I put some vinal type protectant on it using a paint brush and rubbed it in with my hand, it made it look even better

Thanks , Glad you like the build ,
Just got a couple things done today, got the rest of the pedals roughed in
Since I used the 73-74 rear headliner trim ,I cut the bottom off the 77 's and played around seeing if I could get them to fit , not sure if they will stay or not ,

Man... I really love your truck! Great job.. simple and clean!!!! The only thing that I would love to see on it is the cab trim/ body trim/ tailgate trim. (I'm a sucker for a trimmed out truck though)

I'm going to use aftermarket cab trim on mine when it's ready so I'll be the guinnea pig for your truck to see if the LMC trim actually fits!!

Your truck looks great by the way!!!!

Thanks I did my best to keep it clean and uncluttered, I still have to shorten and tie up the heater hoses, make a vac and washer tank hopfully thats it under there
Got that heater hose 90 at summit, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PRS-1036/
I got the longer 1 so the fuel line an alt wires could run under it ,

Finnally took it around the block today bout a 3 mile trip , we have big blocks around here lol ! Ran great ! the air ride feels good , got a vibration that I think is coming from the slip joint in the drive shaft will have to get a new single drive shaft made soon ,
Got a video from after I got back but the leaving video wont load ,
