Just was reading some post I had missed while trying to make the show. Do you really need AC in Idaho? Or is that for trips? and I'm sure that 4" tube would bring in alot of air, if you stick it out the window at 60mph.

Yes, in the southern desert part, and it seems to get worse every year. From mid june to mid september historic average high is above 80 peaking at 92 around the third week in July. This year we had like 10 days the highs were over 100, and 48 out of 50 consecutive days the highs were over 90. I'm adding ac to my truck and the Chevelle when it gets its turn.

Removed gas tank to install air ride stuff, brackets etc., and installed our new 1000hp axles from DDS. Fuel tank reinstalled and started reinstalling front suspension. Now 4 months 14 days and 3 hrs. later we have a roller.

Tomorrow we will be starting to install the fuel, brake and air lines. We need to be done by monday becuase we can't find our tools any more.

Lookin' good. I bet it feels nice having it on the ground. Now the sad part is tearing it down for paint. At the rate you've been progressing, I'm sure you'll have it painted and the cab/body on in no time. Good luck going forward.

Painter friend has an opening in his schedule for jan/feb time frame so I'm shooting for that.

Yes, it's from a 2010 camaro ss with 14.4 rear disc brakes and 3.45 ratio.

Have not worked on the truck that much due to a weasal of a neighbor. He reported me to the county inspector for having abandoned vehicle in my driveway. Granted, one was the cab chained to the avacodo tree next to my driveway. And it was not on the dolly like in the pic.

Now with the case CLOSED. We can continue, getting things ready for sandblasting on Monday.

I had a neighbor call about a car once also, or maybe it was just my wife because she didn't like it either.

Isn't it funny how people care more of their neighbours matters than their own? I dont't know why they are laying their energy on everybodey else than themselves? Maybe they are just envious of NOT having a nice Chevy truck in their garage.. :)

Very nice work you do, keep upp the good work!

I have a piece of crap neighbor like that as well. He called the city on me because I parked my Ram in the grass while I backed out and took my GMC for a spin. Now I have to play musical cars to get my truck out and heaven forbid I park on actual earth because it violates city code...may he die the death of a thousand venereal diseases!

All the frame work looks awesome. This thing is gonna rock for sure.
