whats the plan... satin or gloss? you will be so motivated when theres pretty paint on that frame... there will be no time for eating or sleeping.

looks great!!!

Thank you! I'm trying man, loaded it up and brought it too work test fit and trimmed the bed a hair to clear the wheels and ripped it back apart...once again

I'm thinking satin finish with all my crossbraces blue and clear coated like my track bar is.

Re: project bagged 63 c10

Small update...threw the bed on for the first time since I started the project. Had to trim a bit to fit but is just sitting on there. Back goes down another 3 inches and will sit pretty level when all the way dropped and want to decide on wheels before I do anymore trimming... Don't want to go too crazy trimming for wheels I may not even use. but you get the idea

Meant to update earlier but had a long day and passed out

Got back down to the frame and made a huge mess outside http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...08E3516598.jpg

Loaded the frame up and dropped it at the blasters so they can hit it first thing in the morning

Sorry the pics are a bit blurry was still a bit foggy in there. Came out pretty nice considering i shot them in the prep deck in the middle of our shop,They were working on the booth so did what I could.

Great build man, nice to see someone else baggin with trailing arms
My only concern, I didn't read the whole build but I noticed you offset the bag brackets on the trailing arms.
Iv seen several trucks break down from major twisting.
Even by as little of an inch will make the trailing arm go out of wack.
The trailing arms a designed to twist which is why they have the I shape

Not trying to complain about the build, just watching a fellow baggers safety

Unless of course you don't drive in the rain!!

Thank you Jason! Well to be honest it is a buick 350 and a turbo350 trans. Not really what I wanted to use but the price for the big bubble was in my budget lol. The motor and trans only have 10000 miles on them since they were rebuilt. Figured I would Atleast freshen it up a bit after all the work I am doing didn't want to throw that ugly thing back in. It actually runs really well.....but plan to build up a nice sbc down the road. :chevy:

Thank you for looking out for me I appreciate it. The arms seem to work ok with minimal flexing. Hopefully I don't have any problems

Haha I don't plan on driving in the rain but you never know. I do plan on drilling some holes before final install and thinking about bedlining the bottom of them to help with road rash.:chevy:

Well have accomplished as much as I would have liked to this weekend....but do we ever? Had a family emergency that required me to put my truck on the back burner. I just wanted to say again how much I appreciate everyone that takes the time and check out my build and leave comments....definitely motivating!
Small update getting close....
