Do you have anymore pix of that purple people eater? I've seen similar trucks but most are taken from this same angle. Other then stretching the frame and filling in the suburban rear wheel well with a lower door skin How is the back of the suburban doors filled in? Or is it left stock so the doors open into the bed? Or is a truck back window grafted on?

I just found it here... http://blog.cardomain.com/2008/03/14/cummins-powered/

That's all I know of it. There are some pictures of a white one on here somewhere with about 6 pictures of it, I don't think I have any saved of it though.

Michael,
I remember seeing that purple truck in a 4x4 mag about 10 years ago in a burn out contest! It has a rear truck sheetmetal with a rear truck window in it.

Accidental reposts happen, don't worry... but, if it's multiple same shots of your own, that might be different. In this case I don't think so, post a bigger one of yours, no need for a small pic!!

Skyjacker 6", 3" body, 40" Gumbo Mudders on 15X10 rims (These were pre-swamper tire days, and 44s just came out)

Loved that truck but it did not love u-joints. Got to where I could pull the rear shaft in about 10 min and drive home on the front. Done this many a time after 10-11pm at night dating the now wife.

Thanks man. Its 357/sm465/208. 3/4 tons with 4.10 gears. 6" of lift on 39.5 tsls.
I just got her back together after about two years of wrenching on it. Theres not a bolt on that truck I havent turned. Im really happy with how it turned out. I think the best thing I did to it was chunk the 700r4 in favor of the 4-speed. Thats when it became a real truck!

It's the Dunetech Suburban that started out like this, he just lives not too far from me here in Oregon.

These are the last that I have of it, and it's not much. When I get back in town next week I'll get a hold of him and see if I can get him to join the site, maybe do a build thread on it, or at least maybe he can email me more pics to post up for you guys.

Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

In my opinion, that thing looks retarded... The fab work that was done on it by dunetech was very hack. You could grab the shock hoops in the front and flex them by hand. Not much was done to make it a quality job.

The attached photos are of my wife's 88' K5 Blazer.
We bought the truck from the original owner with a documented 76,000 Miles.

The first few photos are of the truck when we first purchased it.

I have since installed a 1 ton corp 14 bolt rear axle, dana 44 3/4 ton front (Flat top passenger knuckle (Soon to get a cross over steering upgrade)), 17X9 KMC XD series wheels, 37X14.50X17 Toyo A/T tires, skyjacker 8" springs, ES3000 procomp shocks, and a whole lot of other stuff...
