I don't blame you one bit. It is even hotter inside a non-A/C building than it is outside where you at least get the cooling effect of the wind and can find some shade to cool off. Industrial buildings are usually fully exposed to the sun all day long and heat soak horribly staying hot well into the evening after the sun goes down. Not fun at all.

Have fun with the boat this summer.

Maybe you can talk the boss into getting some A/C for the shop

The boss just lease's the building so I doubt we'll get any a/c anytime soon!

While I'm goofing off I might make a run up to Spokane,,, maybe I can stop by and check out .45 acp and the Camaro??

Boxing?? Man you've got a lot more energy than I do!! I'm going to start working out because I need to loose at least 40 lbs. Good luck with the heat and the training!:metal:

Hey FrankieD,, Just been lay'in low while the hot weather is here. The town I live in is a seaport and is only about 750 feet above sea level. That low of elevation this far inland equals lot's of heat. If our shop had a/c I'd still be working on Tangerine, but since it doesn't I thought I'd take some time off and hit it again later.

In the mean time,, I've been hanging out with 68TT up in Spokane. We went to the Goodguy's car show and then went to see atvpro.:chevy::gmc2:

Thanks for making the trip up here Wade. It was great to get to meet you and hit the Good Guys show with a fellow car guy.

Sorry I missed your call yesterday. Up to my eyeballs at work when you called. I will try to call you back tomorrow afternoon.

I hear you on the heat july was pretty hot here 90s & 100's finaly cooled down. Looks like that was a pretty cool show, I've been following ATVpro's build I like that 3/4 ton a lot

Re: "TANGERINE" (C20 to K10) (LWB to SWB) (CST/MOD) (5.3)

atvpro was a great guy to talk to, despite being very busy. His truck looks great in person, and 68TT was also very hospitable and he's downsized his project load to help him focus on his great builds. The goodguy's car show was great as usual, it takes 4 to 6 hours to go through the whole thing. Thanks for the compliments, my photography skills are getting better.

Okay, I'm all caught up and subscribed. You may now continue with your build

Looking great! Can't wait to see what you do with the grill/headlights.

Thanks mjensen for checking out the build and welcome to all the fun!!

I think your right, it's about time to get busy once again. The hot weather is starting to break, and I'm sufficiently motivated from all the car shows I attended this summer. I'm just about finished with all the honey-do's I put off for 9 months, so I'll probably be back on track in the next week or two. That new build by 1tonwannabe looks pretty interesting. I just hope I can keep up!! It's kinda funny, I'm using a GMC rolling chassis and a Chevy body and he's using a Chevy rolling chassis and a GMC body :uhmk: go figure.:chevy::gmc2:
