Time to revive this thread for another year.

Was hoping for another month without snow.

Usually have my truck tucked away by the 15th of October but this year stretched it to the 20th and had an appoinment for it to go in storage that day. Woke up yesterday morning the 20th and looked out the window and said oops.. She is tucked away now..

2 weeks ago it was 80 here... 1 week ago this happened... supposed to be in the teens tonight. This is unusual even for northern MN.

Rare pictures. I bet you didn't expect to be posting your truck in this thread.

It's still October, this ain't supposed to happen this early.
I've been working on the plow truck in the shop, getting ready for winter.
My '68 had to set outside in the snow.
Guess I better get that plow truck finished up, looks like we might just have ourselves a winter this year.

Needed room yesterday so I parked it in my neighbors yard. Usually the remnants of a hurricane are tropical. Not so in 2020.

In 2012 Hurricane Sandy made landfall in NJ, trashed that shore, and rode the PA/MD line across the Appalachian Mountains where it mixed with a cold front creating a wet blizzard. Trees and powerline poles snapped off all over causing power outages for over a week

I remember that very well. Lots of problems up here, too.

Re: Pics of your truck in the snow

That's right. Now I remember that. That was a huge storm. This one was very similar with that arctic blast mixing in with it from the west. It's really chilly here now after being warmer than usual.
I remember about 40 years ago, when I didn't pay as much attention to weather forecasts and reports, we got a snow here in October before the leaves had begun to change. No damage, high winds, or extreme cold. But I have panoramic shots of the mountain I lived up against with green leaves and snow and one later with the leaves in full color.

Hopefully it will be another month or two before I have pictures of my truck in any snow. I'm ok with waiting
