Looks as though you need a c10. That would have fit the boxes easier.

I Pulled the lower half of the mount ( part that bolts to the frame ) off a 75 chevy 1/2 ton that had a small block. It bolted right up to my 67 frame, and I used the rubber and the clamshell mount off a 1975 3/4 ton big block truck. It all fit together pretty good so far!

Just a few more things from summit! Flowmaster 40's with a nice x-pipe kit with some misc stuff. This should keep me busy for a bit. I don't actually know where I'm going to put the x-pipe since i have no room under the cab? I might have to try and fit it under the box somewhere??? :metal:

Time for another update! I had to get a few things painted before I could continue with assembly. I had to buy a new rear sport bumper as i just couldn't find a nice matching piece. So i did some interesting paint work to try and get it to mach the front bumper and the rest of the truck. Check it out it didn't turn out to bad and i will tweak the "patina" a little one its on the truck.

Bumper matched a little better once I put a coat of matt clear over it. Heres a few pics of painting the Rad cradle and Fender liners Flat black as well.

Now that all that was done I needed to get the cab back on the frame to get some of my space back. I pulled the diff and trailing arms out so I could drop the frame onto the ground as the Hoist is being used and had to do it the hard way! Sorry for the bad pics but my boy was happy to see it go together AGAIN! lol
Excuse the old rad as thats just in there so i could run it up to temp and pressure test everything.

Really nice job on the bumper, I like how you did the patina on the bolt heads too.

that rear and front bumper look great

Looks good. You could hit the front bumper with barkeeper's friend and it will clean up quite a bit of the surface rust. Did that on the white of my wife's truck and was surprising how it cleaned up but still looks worn.

Since the cabs back on I've been able to tackle a lot of little things like hook up the cpp shifter linkage and steering joints. I put the rebuilt heater box/core back in and finished that up. Pulled off the carb and gave it a rebuild and installed the new Msd wires and installed the fuse panel and ran some of the wiring.

Next up we (my boy and I ) decided to tackle the heavy duty 4 core radiator and fan shroud from LMC. It didn't fit to bad after a little trimming of the lower cradle supports to drop the rad lower. Here's a few mock up pics.

Just a Few More installed. Ignore the trans lines as it's going to get a separate cooler later on!
