That's a fabulous picture.
The Burb is stunning. I don't thing I've seen that trim package on one.

Out front of the booth they have all the power plants on stands.
The big ol' V-12 looks to be front and center.

I remember as a kid going with my Grandpa to the gas station to get some gas and he got a little upset over gas going up to 28.9.

This one isn't truck related, but its a car I've never seen...and appears to be a corvette wagon? Any info on these?

Love those old dealership pics!
Found this one. I see on the extreme right someone saw the light and traded in his F**D in on a GMC! Like that 60-61 GMC behind the F**d too.

I don't have info but saw one pop up in another thread somewhere once, or maybe on Facebook. I have a couple modern pics of ones I saw at car shows.

Maybe it was a concept design? Or a few home conversions. I don't think it made production, but not really sure on that either.

It was known as the Waldorf Corvette, being displayed at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel for the GM Motorama. There are many hits on a Google search including this Youtube post:

And here's one more:

That's a cool looking wagon....certainly a corvette type design. Kinda looks a bit like a Nomad lookin' rear end.
I'd like to know more.
It appears like GM thought about makin a wagon on the Vette platform....and then decided to go with the Corvair wagon......maybe....?

BTW: Thanks Mark.

I remember a family vacation to Gatlinburg TN back in the late 60's and there was a Gas war going on and gas was 19.9 for Regular… of course a new car was under $4000...

There's one of those Corvette/Nomad wagons here in town. I don't know anything about it other than it has been driven a lot and it shows the miles.

Judging buy this photo of what I'm guessing are the prototypes for the 54 Corvettes there could have a wagon and a fastback. That would have been so cool.

That fastback is a sharp looking car.

Wow I love the photos showing "old trucks" keeping up in "modern traffic"! Back in a time when it was easy to identify every vehicle in the photos.

With the new jelly bean shaped cars I need to read the nameplate to know who made them!

Fellow forum member "Strodder" (aka Dennis) said it's a kit that copies the Nomad concept.
