This really isn't the place to be asking this question, in my for sale thread. You should post your questions in the '67-'72 section or the Suspension section.

Re: Camaro Caliper Brackets

Are the '97 Camaro calipers low drag? I ran across a site stating that they are, and that they require a step-bore master cylinder to operate correctly:

http://www.manualbrakes.com/FAQs.html

I'm not sure if it's required with front calipers that are not low drag, and this might apply specifically to non-boosted applications. I'm also not sure if only the front calipers were low drag and I have found any info either way.

Captainfab:
Been looking at your posts and am interested to know do you have a set of brackets to fit a 1999 Tahoe it is four wheel drive. If so what do you do about wheel sensor stuff? I am thinking this vehicle has rear wheel sensors. Maybe you can shed some light on that? If I install rear discs I am thinking I will also have to change master cylinder right? So I I have to change master cylinder will that screw with the anti-locks? If you could describe what all I would have to change that would help a lot. Looking to improve braking power for when I tow stuff.
Thanks in advance

Re: Camaro Caliper Brackets

Sorry but I still do not have any rear disc brackets for the '88-'98 differentials. I am still working 80 hrs a week every week and that is not enough. Additionally there are 3 different differentials used in the '88-'98 years in the C/K 1500's

Then the Impala SS rear disc brackets are what you will need not the Camaro caliper brackets.

Here is the for sale thread for the Impala SS brackets.

There are links to about half of my for sale threads in my sig line.

Captainfab,

I'm interested in the Camaro brackets, but I would like to know if you have made the 93-97 caliper e-brake bracket or know where I can get them from?

Captainfab,

I attached a picture of the bracket. I've gone to the local auto parts stores and they sell the calipers without the bracket. Just wanted to know if you make the brackets or how others are getting the brackets to make the emergency brake feature work.

Re: Camaro Caliper Brackets

No I do not currently make that bracket.

Captainfab,

Do you know how others that have purchased your Camaro bracket made the e-brake work? Just trying to research before I buy your bracket. I live in Texas and I need the e-brake to work in order to pass State inspections.

Re: Camaro Caliper Brackets

Customers don't tell me much after the sale. I just assumed they are either purchasing used calipers with all the brackets or they come with the reman calipers. Have you checked online for the calipers? I prefer to buy local too, but sometimes it doesn't workout for what you need.
