Re: my 64

Yes congrats on you license. All caught up now. I had no idea you were so young. Your doing a great job no matter how old you are. What do you want to do when you graduate high school? When I was your age I majored in art, and drafting. What did I do when I graduated? Become a mechanic. But you know I made more money than my friend And he has been an Architect for the same amount of years. You have a bright future if you choose the right place to work. Keep up the good work and graduate, and go to a trade tech school and learn more about automotive repair. Your a natural. At my age (old enough to be your Grandfather ) I'm still learning. You never know enough.

Re: my 64

Sounds like a good plan for a good future. If you find a job doing what you love, you never really work.

Re: my 64

Maybe that's why I stayed young looking. I loved what I do, and I get a lot of satisfaction after I build or fix something. My brother hates what he does, and is stressed all the time. He gets drunk all the time because he's not happy. And he has no wife, or kids. He looks 15 years older than me, and he's 5 years younger. My point is doing what you love is healthy. Keep up the good work Kid. :metal:

Re: my 64

Same here. I won't ever be a rich person as far as money goes, but I make enough to support my family. That is the most important thing. I'm not at work 24/7, and missing everything going on around me. I love what I do, and I look forward to coming to work each day. Well maybe not so much in the morning, but after the caffeine kicks in I'm ready to go!

I like the black part, but the Y looks weird with the body lines on the hood. It may just be the pic though.

I hate Holleys. Put a Edelbrock 600 on it and walk away. No fuss. What intake manifold are you using? You should also use a fiber block between the carb and manifold to adsorb the heat to keep the gas from boiling in the Carb bowl.

I'm pretty sure I did the carb thing. It was about 30 years ago but a lesson well learned. Ebay time.;)
