Re: CRGRS 66 – Winter Build Thread
Well Craig after we had 24hrs of heavy rain last week if your basement has a leak it would show. Good luck on fixing it all up.

Camping in upstate NY earlier in the month, picked up some goods @ D-S Auto, Alan Groves Alternator bracket, 3 groove crank pulley, power steering pulley, oil filter adapter and filter. Accessory drive mocked up, just need to dismantle and paint a few items, reassemble, then time to put the engine back in. Also recently purchased an American Auto Wire classic update harness, and a laundry list of other bits and pieces. Should be able to devote some time to the truck starting in a couple of weeks:metal:

Craig, new parts are always fun. It'll be nice to see you back at it.
Where did you camp, Finger Lakes area? |
Re: CRGRS 66 – Winter Build Thread
Great purchase on the Alan Grove parts. I have their stuff on my truck and it works perfectly and lasts indefinitely. Good luck!

I have been making small bits of progress here and there, and have run into an issue with my clutch linkage. I poached these pictures form McMurphy`s thread. I believe I am having the same issue. Stud threads into the boss nicely, but the linkage was nearly impossible to install, and just does not look right. Engine is a basic 350 crate engine. I don`t have any fab skills, hoping Mike reads this and kept the dimensions for his little bracket...

Re: CRGRS 66 – Winter Build Thread
Thanks guys, did I put the brake hardware back together correctly?
We do some pretty intricate tube bending for some OEM customers, I will post some pictures. |
Re: CRGRS 66 – Winter Build Thread
Hi Craig Glad to see your still at it!! Love the fuel line. As far as I see the brakes seem to be correct.
