Re: Project Patina Burb
Not much of an update, I've spent the last two hours with a razor blade scraping all four door windows and the hatch glass getting all the nasty glue from the purple tint off. I did throw a couple of my stickers on.

I like the Goonies sticker! That was one of my favorite movies!

This thing is great! Mobsteels w/ caps will be perfect.

Re: Project Patina Burb
There's a white set already on a burb down in LA you could bring me on the way up.

Yes, it's titled Project Topless 365/24/7. It's in the blazer build threads. I don't have the link.

Re: Project Patina Burb
Hmm, cant find that anywhere.
I really want to see that blazer. LOL. |
Re: Project Patina Burb
I think that thread is gone. I looked for it one time and it and searched for it in Bryan's threads and his only go back to the first of this year.

Re: Project Patina Burb
Sorry for not updating anything. Nothing much to talk about. I bought my passenger side inner fender from SOKY Classics this past weekend. Also ordered the expensive rear quarter panel window rubber from GMC Pauls. I'm having a guy come over this weekend or at the beginning of next week to install the windshield and the two rear quarter windows. All the glass will be in the burb at that point.
My mother in law came over today and she's a pretty good seamstress. Mandi and her cut up one of my free "jail" blankets and covered the third row seat. http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...psc9oiq3ci.jpg |

Re: Project Patina Burb
That's my free 3rd row seat with my free "jail" blanket, with my free seat belts (that don't match), done with free labor from family.

Re: Project Patina Burb
Glass guy just left the house. ALL the glass is in the burb FINALLY!!!!
So like a little kid I started slapping on all of the stickers I'd been compiling the last couple of years. Weird thing is I thought I had more. I don't want them to cover the entire rear quarter glass, just on the bottom of it. http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...pslnwm0db3.jpg http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps4evblzme.jpg http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...psbvzrsjiq.jpg http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...psljukjgwa.jpg I've been waiting on this one for a while!! http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...pscw8h8deo.jpg I also got the correct steering cup for my horn cap and slapped it on. It may seem tedious and not worth a mention, but I had no clue the 60-68 steering cups were different and couldn't figure out why my horn cap wouldn't go on. http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...psymuu6ivj.jpg |
Re: Project Patina Burb
Looks good Bryan! Did he put a windshield in your square too?
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
Yep, it needed it bad.
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
Good deal! I may need to get that guys info so I can get the windshield replaced in the crew cab
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
I dig the stickers. My goal is to cover the back of my old travel trailer with cool and unusual stickers.
