Looks great, you have made some nice progress. Wish mine was this far along, I can't wait to be hanging sheet metal.

Just checking fit then apart she goes again, so far it's not too bad, AMD and OER panels and they're all pretty close, not show quality but I'm going for the resto rat rod driver look anyway, still jealous of yours;)

Looking good!!!!

Do you ever order parts from Scott's Super Trucks?
Or just order out if the states.??

Re: Finally starting the 68swb fleet

There's a classic industries dealer in GP I use a lot, mostly my orders are through them or the states though, Scott's has gotten crazy for pricing and I found them pretty rude on the phone lately so I've been opting for other places

Not going to lie guys, this bodywork thing is getting old fast, I have posted a wanted ad to enlist help from a professional, after looking at my handiwork I am not confident in my ability and would rather it isn't painted and me being my worst critic so I will keep you guys posted on what happens, got a few replies and plan to interview after the long weekend

Should be heading for final bodywork and paint this weekend, I'll try and post some more pics before it goes with the hood and doors on, sorry for the lack of updates, I pick at it a bit here and there but I started a snowmobile hillclimb race league so I've been pretty preoccupied. The light is at the end of the tunnel I hope the paint goes well

I will try and get on here with my laptop and update. Believe it or not after all these years I haven't given up or completed this truck but it just rolled out of paint so the light is at the end of the tunnel and I will try and get pics up when I get to my laptop as my phones not cut out to upload I guess

Had a change of heart and swapped the rv cam for a comp cams thumper setup, swapped the rockers for roller tips, dumped the power plus intake for an edelbrock, and swapped out the dress up kit for a pro form setup. There’s nothing like changing your mind on upgrades before even using them haha

I'm in the same boat! For years I couldn't live without having an air ride set up on my 72. Now that it's nearly ready to run I'm thinking I'd prefer a solid static setup. I think hot rod parts are to men like shoes are to the ladies.

Your truck is so close, and looks so good!!!:metal:

Hahaha it’s true I’m considering swapping wheels now too it’s a never ending deal. I’m gonna steal that line for when the wife starts grilling me about replacing new parts

One piece glass is in and I say every time this is the last time I do that but I’m sure I’ll do it again. Hoping to install the Holley sniper under bed tank and reinstall bedwood this weekend then maybe get it to exhaust and then off to wiring

Off to exhaust and alignment, then over to electrical and a little plumbing, toss new front tires on and it’s gonna be time to destroy the rears for the first time in nearly 14 years
