Thanks for sharing. I really like the black & silver '60 Suburban. The one piece side windows are a nice touch. I have seen this before only 1 or 2 times. I can imagine the difficulty in a restoration like this overseas.

No model. the real deal. lowered 3 in. front, 4 in. rear and a 3 in. top chopped. shaved door handles, 1990 blazer bumpers. lots under it you can't see. 1969 442 burgundy lower and 1998 chev. truck pewter top.

After a 2 year search I am finally able to post a pic of my first ever Suburban, GMC and 60-66 year truck. Owner was not even selling it so had to spend a few months talking him in to it. It's a CA Burb built at the Numi plant in Fremont CA. Have only had it one month but since owning it I have already installed the headlight relay harness purchased from Baron at VH Coachworks (quality product and what a difference in illumination at night) and I'm only using the Sylvania Halogen sealed beams.
Few details:
- 454 Big block
- 700R4 auto
- Posi 12 bolt rear end
- All three original bench seats though not currently running the middle bench
- VDO guages
- Classic air
Currently on the hunt for a set of four (or 2 for now) 15x6, 6x5.5 Steelies from the 71-87 year Chevy/GMC trucks (yeah they are kinda hard to find)
The Mickey Thompsons currently on it are nice but not my style - they will go up for sale once I find the steelies.

Thanks Likaroc13 - was able to locate a set of 15x8 6 lugs for the rear, still looking for a set of 15x6's for the front.

Thanks Lucifer - the 454 runs great but I'd love to have LS6 (like yours) stuffed in here one day

yep already doing that - amazed by how many people wave or stop to talk to me about this thing, most are unsure what it even is. I'm guessing many Burb owners here experience the same thing.

thanks gostranger - yep this was pure luck, been looking for one for awhile, each one I looked at needed a lot of work, this deal came through a friend of a friend of a freind etc. Totally lucked out on this one.

Update since owning the Burb for about 3 months now. 6 lug steelies all around - 15x6 stockers up front, 15x8 rear with GMC sprint caps and switched front GMC letters to the earlier style.

Yes sir - changed all four headlights to Sylvania Halogen sealed beams, installed the heavy duty wiring harness from VH coachworks (great lighting upgrade), changed the parking lights to clear lenses with yellow bulbs and then hit the highbeams with yellow duplicolor metalcast.
