Which OMAX did you get? I may be getting a 55100 soon. Boss has one and we don't have any room here for it anymore so he wants to out it in my shop.

We changed the main crossmember from a Touring base to an Extreme base for the airbag version. This locates the rack and motor a little higher.

The coil over version will keep the Touring base and we will be fitting up some headers specific to the kit for the LS motors.

Nate. I believe I have the extreme with my 1955-59 kit. Does that mean I should have less issues with the exhaust on the ls motor?

Your version gives more clearance at the exhaust and steering shaft... exhaust will be a breeze.

If you can find some stock manifolds off the new body style camaro that might be the most cost effective way to go. If you would rather have a header, are you looking for a fancy set or an economical set?

Yea I think the 1955-59 kits are way more narrow then yours.

Nate around 500$ if possible. Just to confirm I'm talking about the 1955-59 front end.

As always thanks for the help!!

The crossmember on the 55-59 and 63-72 are close enough to be called the same dimension where the motor sets. Clearances will be the same.

I will do a little looking to see what I can find for headers in the $500 range.

You can buy a set of Stainless BBK's for under $500

No pics... as we haven't made a coil over version for the 55-59... yet. :)

Haha... I like the "yet" response. Well I'm hopefully going to be meeting up with Delmo soon to talk about my options. I love your products so hopefully we can make the first 55-59 coil over drop members happen.

It will be a piece of cake... just haven't had anybody ask for one yet. I am sure that there will be plenty of interest after we build one! LOL

Can't go wrong with Del... he will treat you right.

Nate
