The exhaust looks great! I do have a couple questions. I can't really figure out how its mounted from the axle back. It looks like it's under the rear axle but also mounted to the frame near the rear bumper. Or am I seeing things? Can you explain how the exhaust is going to move when you air up the suspension, or put it on a lift (suspension droop)?

Thanks man. The pictures show the suspension at full lift, so the axle won't need to drop any further. If I do ever need to drop it out further, the whole exhaust system is flanged in sections and can be removed. You can see in the pics just before the axles the flanges. I could pull the rear sections off if needed.

Cool, thanks for making that clear. I really like how the tips come out under the back of the bedside.

No problem. Ya I wanted it to be clean and just peek out a bit. Plus didn't want to just dump it under the truck.

Anyone know if this is how the booster is supposed to mount?

You can get rid of that bracket and make a flat one that will move the booster back to the firewall I made mine I can send you a pic of the template or there are ones that you can buy

Please send me the template! Glad there are options, this bracket is huge! Random.co@gmail.com

How much did you need to trim the threaded shaft that connects to the brake pedal?

Re: "Old Olive" 1970 C10 porterbuilt build

I didn't have to but I have a 5 speed and it moved the clutch pedal up to match the brake pedal so you may have to cut it down to where you like it. What brakes do you have if there big and you talk to wilwood you can get a master cylinder that you dont need power brakes for

I don't think they sell only the bracket here, but just to give you an idea. www.hyrdratech.com

I have one of the hydratech units. It has a billet mount plate you can sort of see in the pic ajgriffin posted. Also, the hydro boost booster is mounted 180 degrees opposite of what you have yours at now.

I have pics of my install starting on page 4 in my build thread, and pics with my wilwood master/prop valve setup on page 21, if you're interested.

Theres not a problem with mine being mounted that far out right? The kit I bought is specifically for the 67-72 trucks.

Wow, that is looking better by the day. I would be proud to do that kinda work to my rig.

Your truck is turning out to be Da Bomb!

Haven't had an update in a little while so figured I'd add one!

Started rewiring tbe whole truck using an EZ Wiring 21 circuit kit.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...psx0jsvfkb.jpg

Wired the Dakota Digital VHX gauges control box and fitted the gauges into the original bezel.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...psw5joz9kb.jpg

Vintage air is installed.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...ps7etpqgzr.jpg

Kept tbe smooth firewall look

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...pslnmdps4u.jpg

Hidden stereo that looks like a stock radio but is totally modern with am/fm, aux and ipod hookups, preamp 4 channel and amplifier outputs

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...psmcmbt2nc.jpg

Started bending hardlines for the AccuAir air ride

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...pspoymk96u.jpg

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...ps5rmzje1k.jpg

The shop that is going to do my custom brake and fuel lines is moving locations, hopefully I can get the truck in there in the new year.

After that it's pretty much ready to rock!

Josh, what did you do for bracing from the bottom of the bedside back to the bottom of the bed floor since you raised it? In front and behind the wheel opening. Sorry if I missed it

Thanks, Wade

I used the original support rods, cut the ends off and made new, longer ones with steel rod. Bolted them to the factory spots on the fenders and attached the other ends to tbe frame. I'll take some pictures today.
