A 3-window, a 5-window, and a Suburban, but I'm drooling over that pristine panel!

Can you imagine the jokes at the Ford dealership when their new cars were towed in by the Bowtie wrecker?

Note the factory hood ornament on the panel.

Could be. Given all the visible options it well could be.

(The suburban makes we wonder what happened to the one i left in Seneca Falls in early 1969. Drove it from CA to NY there to get into the USAF. Had a black and white striped rear bumper and last i heard was sold as a feed bin.)

Aftermarket dump box?

Re: Our Trucks Doing What They Did - Vintage Photo Thread

That is what I am thinking, just funny that it would be in the showroom though. I would think that would be something the customer would do after buying the truck. And the dealer wouldn't because it would narrow the customer base so much on that one truck.

I feel like I've seen a similar bed to the one in W Hare's showroom but I can't find a picture.

The S&H Greenstamps logo on the Nickey Chevrolet truck makes me smile. I had to help my mother sort and count piles of green stamps whenever I couldn't find a way to keep myself entertained.
