Holly cow he has a lot of great stuff there! Do you do pumpkin chunking very often? Nice chunk by the way.

We only do the Trebuchet at our church's fall fest out on a members farm.

When we load up the weight bucket with around 200 pounds, we can get those pumpkins a flyin'..... somewhere around 350 to 400 feet! It takes 3 men pulling with all our might to cock it with the 200 lbs in it. I'd love one day to really ramp it up with 400 or 500 lbs and see what she'll do. Not sure we could cock it is the problem though.

I was sadly dissappointed when discovery didn't air last year's comp on Thanksgiving! Bad deal!

2015 there were Punkin Chunkin events around the country , best I can remember local Original Event was cancelled. They have tried to find a more profitable spot and failed, it's back in, Delaware.

Ummmm... yeah. We had to cut 8 inches off, 10 foot ceilings are kinda small you know....

You can call me Clark Grizwold if you like.

I know it's not a truck picture, but I got a drone for Christmas and just had to post a pic of our beach house rental.

When you have no Chevy trucks on the island, you have to make do.

I had a garage shelving project at the Beachsidebungalow, so off to the Do It Center I go.

Frankie is now the shop truck, running down parts for projects that are virtually complete.....in my mind. What the heck???? I haven't even gotten close to finishing the Bride of Young Frankenstein and I'm buying parts for the next project??? I may have misplaced my mind, but I couldn't resist for $125.

Hmmmmm, why would I need the 4th door assy and matching jamb from an 85 model?

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

It's really silly of me to even be thinking of this, but I'm envisioning a travel burb with an Airstream in tow. You know I'm in love with 72's, and so I'm preparing for a 4th door shortcut using parts of the jamb and door innards of the sq body with the skin and window frame of the 72 grafted on. Seems much easier than what all these guys are doing currently, hand fabricating everything from scratch.

This has nothing to do with Young Frankenstein, but I thought I would give an update here about his Bride.... our 1957 Buick Roadmaster.

I've been integrating some safety items like seat belt mount floor reinforcement, side impact crash bars from a 2000 Camaro and updated locks and latches that will stay secured during a wreck. Come over and check out the progress.

THIS is what I wanted my bedliner to turn out like.... I've finally had enough practice and this is what I just sprayed on the bottom of our 57 Buick Roadmaster over in the Alternate Tinkerings section. Too bad I didn't know all the secrets 4 years ago when I did Frankie.
