I have seen this truck in person. The previous owner wanted $30k and I offered less than that. It had rust in the cab corners and rockers. The repair was done by the owner in Belfry MT. I passed because the repair was done quickly and not by a professional. It was offered again at $26K last year and that was still a bit steep, but it was a nice truck. This owner must be trying to flip it and make $10K+

71 K10 Cheyenne, swb or... maybe a K1500? Anyway, beautiful truck.. $28.5K

70 C10 swb - neat little truck, am surprised we don't see more of the 99+ K1500 wheels on the pre-71s or Ks. $5.5K

70 C20 Custom Camper - really like the gold interiors. $16310K (but I bet you could probably get him down to $16300 even..)

Complete '79 1/2-ton 4x4 running gear except motor. 3:73's, part-time, never wrecked -

How difficult would it be to drop a 67 - 72 body on this?

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

67-72 lwb was 127" and 73+ lwb was 131.5 - so, probably not a very fun project :). Also, even if converted to part time, the NP203 is chain-driven, not quite as strong as the 205, another consideration on the running gear. If you have a C10 you want to swap onto it - you could swap the axles onto the C10 chassis - a bit of work for the front, but some folks have done it. Probably not worth buying a whole truck for its axles and so-so t-case though.

It's located in the SF Bay Area.

If you can get a deal I would buy it

Agreed. With some love and TLC, that could be a really nice super! Needs saved!

The truck is in Utah, the seller in Texas. It is almost exactly what I've been looking for.If it was wearing original paint and a little cheaper/closer I would be all over it.

I will probably end up regretting not jumping on it

Really nice truck and, in my view, a good price; even though I just bought my K10, I would be very temped to buy it!

I hesitated twice. One a super was in GA the other a real nice 68 4x4 in New Hampshire. Regret not going for it.

When I saw my 68 in South Carolina I didnt hesitate .

I agree. I think the price is in line especially for a western truck. Yeah it has a little rust from the salt lake valley air but overall looks very saveable. So many truck so little time and money 😂
