I think it’s peeling clear coat from a respray- the df2 mirrors aren’t present either. It’s currently listed on eBay.

Alas, no. I wanted to document another 69 my example and a member posted a link to the CL ad advertising this one. Note the red hub dials and interior color of the top that matches the body - seen for 69.

There are a few 1971 model year Flint built Blazer SPIDs here - the earliest sequence number is 654572.

Would be fun to know what month Flint began K5 production.
