View looking into cab. Here the lower panel is also installed. All the floor panels are covered in ultra-leather. I use a home made mat when driving. Its some soft material sewn around some doorboard, nothing special.

Pic 1 Got the hood, installed. Truck had been running for awhile, and I had been driving it up and down the hiway a few times. I couldn't resist taking this shot.

Took pickup to local car show, won first place for underconstruction. I was like a little kid, happy as -ell.

oldman3, very very nice. I love the interior, with the under dash panel and the console. A great looking truck.

oldman3, No, nothing new be back in the garage this week end. Finished building another bed box and had done a 1939 chevy deck lid (frenched license plate box, rust repair, body work and primer). So back onto the 1954 this weekend. So pictures this weekend.

Yes it is wood, called lauan, I always use birch but it comes in different types. It is about 1/8" thick. A lot of upholstery shops use it instead of door board.
