So it looks like everyone on the forum must be watching that '68 4x4 from montana. Showing 168 "watchers". It does look like a nice truck. Good luck to all of you bidding.

71 GMC. $9000

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...551280929.html

Selling my 1971 gmc 2500, 3/4 ton, 2wd. It has a small block 350 in it. Runs and drives great, starts up right away in the morning. I've had this truck as my daily driver. Has ac and heater that works. Also the truck came with the factory option "Max Traction"
It is a rare factory option that equipped the truck with a Dana 60 rear axle rather than the standard Eton.

Here's a list of the work that has been done on it during 2017

-Newer, completely gone through engine put in
- new paint job
- new alternator, battery
- radiator hoses
- brand new tires put on in October
- Brake system drained and refilled with new fluid
- interior been worked on

- Front brakes:
Rotors
Calipers
Pads
Rubber lines replaced
Front wheel bearings

- Rear brakes:
Wheel cylinders
Drums
Shoes
Hardware
Adjusters
Parking brake hardware

Rear differential drained and filled with fresh gear oil

Transmission
Drained and filled with fresh trans oil
New filter and gasket installed

Valve cover gaskets replaced

New Monroe front and rear shocks

I have receipts for all the parts.

New titles

I'm sure I'm forgetting some thing but txt or call me if you have any questions or would like to come and take a look at it.

Asking for $9,000

72 2500 GMC. $4600. Looks like a nice truck.

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...548712795.html

Nice classic 1972 GMC 2500 Custom, good solid survivor truck. Runs out good. Has a strong running 350 with 4 barrel carb and 4spd trans with heavy duty radiator and factory heavy rear springs. Was stored indoors in a garage for many years before I got it, 2wd. Very nice interior with the custom package and delux seats and door panels, very solid truck! Lived all it's life out in the dry dessert like climate in eastern Washington. It fires up and runs good, but power steering whines a little and will need a muffler eventually as it's a little loud but does drive out good. Asking 4600 obo with clean washington title. If interested you can call or text show contact info ken

A few things I noticed about that blue 68 4x4, it lists body side molding, but it doesn't have the tailgate or tail light trim ( it should have it) Also, it has a wood bed floor, but it's not listed on the SPID. Also doesn't list it being two tone with the with top. It's a very cool truck though.

I agree it’s a very cool truck. The white roof is a nice touch.

Thanks! Retiring at the end of the year...needed a man cave. Have decided it may be a little to big, so bought another building and am going to lease or sale this one soon.

Ad's been deleted, but I'm looking at this '72 K20(?) on Friday. 350/4speed 4x4. Owner's asking $6500, though I hope to haggle it down a little. Ad was deleted as he was tired of dealing with lowballers, which I know that feeling!

Looks to need rockers and cab corners, few dents and dings, surface rust here and there. Said there was a pair of doors, both rockers, cab corners, and other odds and ends included with the truck. I've been wanting one of these for a while, both to finish learning stick, and to have a classic daily.

My friend use to own this truck, I have driven it and looked it over pretty good. It's a little rusty, but seems to have a great drivetrain

Someone posted a bunch of loose 67-72 parts in the Facebook Marketplace.
Notable items a full set of seat belts, a couple carbs, gauges, trim above tailgate handle...

Small world! I don't mind the rust, I can easily get that taken care of through the years. What matters to me is the drivetrain being good.
