Don't worry about measuring. I found the info on the web. There are several that will fit.

Depending on how you build it you could go with 10' walls and a vaulted truss. On my barn I stuck the foundation wall out of the ground 2' then a 8' wall. Then I vaulted the ceiling. I'm pretty sure just the peak has to be 12'. I'm putting one in my next house. My dream house is going to have one in the floor that goes down to a basement under my garage.:metal: Like a bat cave. That would be cool:metal:

I need to start looking for a hoist that goes up and down. ;)The basement under the garage has always been a dream. It really only cost 4' more of wall and the free spaning concrete floor. :uhmk:

I'm still cleaning it. Did you see the pictures on page 17? I'm happy with the way it's coming out. I have to install a S-10 Diff with disc brakes next. Need to finish cleaning & painting it with POR-15 first.

yep saw that, just thinking with your speed you would be working on your truck, the lark looked like it was ready to go back together.

Almost. Still have some time consuming things to do to it. I'm going to sand blast all the hard to get at places, then paint it. I still have to make all the brake lines, and get the S-10 E-Brake to work with the Studebaker's pull handle after I put the S-10 diff in. I'm getting tired just talking about it. Hopefully this week I'll get it off the lift.:metal:

Here's the Larks frame ready to paint tomorrow. Spent all day sandblasting all the hard to get places.

While I was at it I sandblasted my 700R4. I sneak a little work in on my truck now and then. Especially since I was making a big mess with the blaster already. Next I'll paint it.

I went out tonight to see how it was drying. I was shocked to see it turned dull. I opened a new can. Maybe they sent me the wrong black. It was supposed to be gloss. I'm calling POR-15 tomorrow morning. :banghead: :m6:

Thanks Allan. I might have to do it all over again. I wonder if I could spray gloss black over the flat POR-15.

Looking good !

Thats not cool about the POR-15, Do they offer it in non gloss ? It could have been a bad batch, Not Cool. Specially with all that labor into it already.

None the less, Killer progress and thats going to be very nice !!

What does it say on the POR can about top coating?

Nothing. It doesn't even say what color it is. On the lid it has a number 082902. When I call them I'll give them the number. I'll also look at my receipt and see what that says.
