I forgot to post this, just a few rocks for the fire pit. I've taken out the plastic bed liner since then. Nevertheless, had to take it easy around the corners. A few tools in my box too Bishops Trucks.;)

Here is our 1970 C10 towing our 1960 18' Chris Craft. Both have SBC in them. I bought the truck in May last year and after a few miles around town and close to home to work out a few issues, I put it to work towing. It made 2 300 mile trips with no issues. The last trip was about 150 without the trailer and it got 18.3 mpg. I was watching the gauge all the way thinking it wasn't working properly. When I topped off the tank I couldn't believe the mileage.

Blazer hauling boat and '71 Custom Camper in background. Can't see much cargo, but both being used to haul for a trip to Lake Powell. '71 blew out an exhaust manifold coming down from Grand Canyon North Rim. Picture is in Flagstaff at exhaust shop, bored family :cool:

Wanted to see what a legitimate half ton felt like. The previous owner had something done on the transmission, it shifts hard (nice quick shift) when empty, really smooth when loaded, I'm impressed.

Mountain bike with a half ton of mud. I used to carry the bike in the car, nice to just throw it in the bed, and stand up against the tailgate at the carwash.

Ha! I was scrolling by, and was like, "Hey wait...Avantis??" Then I looked closer and realized I recognize that truck, driveway, and restaurant sign. lol. :metal:


Just found this pic last night. All loaded up with the wife, kids, all their gear, cooler full of beer and juiceboxes...ready to hit the road for PowerTour this past summer.
