LOL! Thank you! Need to get my truck out in Hawaii :)

Small Update: I ordered some CPP Tubular control arms today.
Going to order PB Hood Hinges. I think you see the 20x10s stuffed in there. Going to make provisions to go wider since I did the tubs (20x12 or 13) in preparation for the turbo.

CPP arms finally came in. Going to install today, along with new outers, inners, idler and pitman arms. Then back to the alignment shop. The CPP pieces look amazing!

It has been awhile since we have talked, I hope you are doing well.
I have made significant progress as of late.
Technically all I have to do is wire the ignition switch and I can start the engine, but there are still some other small things that need to be done before I can drive it.

Hello everyone! Hope you are doing great!
I have not posted in a while. I have since upgraded to QA-1 Shocks all the way around. They are 18-way adjustable, and let me tell you, they have done an amazing job! I have the fronts set to +6 clicks and the rear at +5 clicks. That works at the ride height that you will see in this video:

Nice build, very similar to what im going for. Mines a 69 gmc on porterbuilt but my engine and tens will have nothing on yours lol. Can you prove the bs on your 20's as well as tire sizes? Also are you laying frame on the 20's and how much clearance to you have over the rear tires? Thanks for any help.

Haha thank you, David.

Lays frame. All the way down. I do have them tubbed. It's a snug fit. But I'd say .5" clearance. Will be going more hardcore later when I need to fit 12" wide and turbo.

Thanks for the info, if its not too much trouble could you post up a pic of you inner bed, im curious what you mean by tubs as most people just hack the bedside and leave it open, mine will likely run a much shallower bed than yours as I went with the porterbuilt extreme and the notches look quite a bit taller than yours but I may be wrong. I like the idea of tubbing it though as it will keep the road sludge of everything. Thanks again,
Dave

If you will email me at TeamLMP@icloud.com, I can send you pics. This site doesn't allow me to post pics for some reason. I always get an error (site related saying I need to ask an admin for help). I don't have them hosted on a site anywhere, otherwise I'd post them.

My raised bed floor is 8" from the top if I remember correctly. There are actual tubs that are large enough for a 22x13 wheel to fit.

Sent thanks, I have been thinking about buying a spare set of rear fenders and using them as tubs and just narrow them to whatever I end up needing,

I know it has been a while...
I have done a lot in the last few years. Most recently I have begun the process for installing the turbo setup. More to come!

It's good to see you again Leon.
Turbo for the win!
Are you doing a single or twin?

So, I'm on page 4 of this thread and really enjoying this.....just reading along.................................................and..................................

HOPING FOR SOME REALLY GOOD INSPIRATION AND INFORMATION AND PICTURES regarding the T56/6.0 swap.

Please thread.......please don't let me down. I seemingly cannot find a good thread to give me the proper inspiration to take the plunge on a T56 instead of the more common auto swap.
