It was a simple one. The little tabs on a few of the individual bulb holders were flatened out, I bent them up which made a better contact and poof bright lights. :lol:

Good!!! It seemed a shame to get rid of her when you have almost all the pieces/parts to make her whole. I saw where you said you may swap her to a '68 frontend...if you do, I may be able to help with a few pieces, just let me know. It'd be a great excuse to go to the beach for the weekend ;)

I would really like to have Hart_Rod's '68 but there just isn't any interest in this truck so it's time to get started on building it. I am seriously thinking about swapping to the '68 style front end if I can find some clean original sheet metal. We'll see...

Played around in the garage a little today. Installed an actual 6 cylinder tachometer, it's nice to know what RPM the old stove-bolt is turning. ;)

Well, I finally got the truck up on the blocks and ready for disassembly.

After pulling the grill I found some evidence to help answer the question about this strange hole in the firewall.

I figure the truck had an aftermarket A/C unit at some point. Not really a big deal but I have been curious about it since the truck was delivered. Mystery solved!!

Got quite a bit done today...

Hood and hinges removed.
