I am actually with you guys, I'd say the lack of detail would make that truck more of a $20K truck to me as I would seriously wonder what details I cannot see they overlooked as well.

Engine compartment.......hell, they skimped on the paint job! Look at the one fender emblem closeup....you can just barely make out some legs with jeans and can't even make out one shoe! Appears to be one of those pretty it up to take advantage of a sucker type of sales. "Very original".....means none of the steering, suspension, or brake system has even been gone through. You know, the things you would do first before ever painting!! I'd bet it desn't even have a new u-joint on it! That's an $8000 truck at best seeing as how EVERYTHING needs redone including the paint!

Sadly... any POS swb 4x4 will bring 8k. You are dealing with a vehicle that if legit
It is very hard to find and in great demand..I agree with jocko in that it's not 28k but it will fetch 18 to 20 with ease.

Nice truck but I think it had the paint redone possibly I noticed there are not any factory crayon marks on the firewall and the bolt on the hood hinge looks like its been over sprayed.

Lotsa close up pictures...

The door mirrors are 71-72, so to do the swap it would take some drilling, welding, little bondo and fresh paint on the doors. From the inside doors look 68 type. No power steering or power brakes - boy its hard to size 'em up from pictures. It looks fairly original '68 K10.

That is a cool looking truck. Would be really cool if it's the one on the cover of that magazine.

It's Legit. Real low-mile survivor and a real Cheyenne Super. Previous owner had a little bit of paint work done on the bed above the trim and tailgate.

Looking at that Burb I don't think you have to worry about someone buying it out from under you if you want it.

Haha that’s exactly what I thought. Raptor paint!! Yes like some things about it inside and would’ve loved to see the fabric headliner

Yes, the exterior is a bit of a Tremclad special, but I do like 4X burbs. I’d be more inclined to pay $8-$10k for it depending on the condition / contents of the engine bay.

well $14,500 Canadian is like $10,500 US (today) so not too bad as it shows in those pictures if not completely rotted out underneath and drivetrain is decent..

Definitely not too bad. Still a bit of a high price for a backyard paint job. $10k CAN ($7,500USD) is probably close to what he’ll get. Unless of course there’s a greasy old smogger 350 in the engine bay.

Here's something on a Kalifornia truck you don't see very often, still has the smog pump on it.
It's not hooked up and has the wrong carb, but still there and along for the ride.
