Re: Next up on the block!
I've been slowly growing in my garage as far as work for others, the current waiting line is about 10 trucks.....We've decided its time to put the house on the market and find one with a shop. God willing these are the first steps to being able to realize a dream and do this full time.

Re: Next up on the block!
What is the latest with this build?
|
Re: Next up on the block!
Congratulations. Keep us posted on your quest for new home and shop. That sounds really cool. Hopefully you can put some time in on your rig as well. You got 10 trucks on the waiting list so you get to put 10% of your time into your truck. That math works right?

Re: Next up on the block!
right?!?.. Im excited to jump on this one but I see where the priorities are. Soon Ill dive head first into it. Its just a bunch of parts and time! lol

The goal is to have the replacement cab painted and ready to swap in the next week. Gotta finish up a few things on it before paint, installing slosh tubz etc. I will update as I go......

Re: Next up on the block!
decided to go ahead and set the new cab on before paint, just in case we scratched it. Ive got a pretty trick setup for a regular cab but this sucker is big....

progress pics. Got a buddy cleaning up the wiring harness, It had a new harness in it but a crappy bulkhead connector. Were going back to a factory connector and cleaning up some other nonsense... Ordered a new radiator as well as this one has some nasty spots on it. Looks like its leaked in the past and been repaired...

got all the front sheetmetal test fitted. It all fits well especially for being aftermarket.

went with the dodge d250 radiator as mine had seen better days. Took a little modification but fits well now. Gonna tidy all that up and paint it soon. Waiting on a few pieces to rework the intercooler tubes.
