Re: 1972 2wd blazer price?
Exactly. Thank you. Have a deal now.
What do you guys think?? |
Re: 1972 2wd blazer price?
I think it is a nice truck at $22K, I wouldn't sell my step side for that, if you got it for $15K you did well.

Re: 1972 2wd blazer price?
I've been looking for a year. Haven't found any 2wd like this.
What do you guys think? Go for it? |
Re: 1972 2wd blazer price?
Ledzepp do you know this guy? He says he has had this one for 10 years. He admits he has built alot of trucks and suburbans and sold them. Said he is the 2nd owner. Everything seems legit.
You are from California have you seen any other 2wds? Thanks |
Re: 1972 2wd blazer price?
So did you buy this for $15k?
|
Re: 1972 2wd blazer price?
So you Offered it already. Did he not accept because
Of the cl add? Yeah I guess it's a lot harder to find the 2xs. A lot less production than 4xs. I'm not sure on numbers but I think 4600 total blazers and only a few hundred were 2xs. Back then wasn't a big call for a utility vehicle that could only be street driven. Now I guess it's a lot bigger deal. Being the rarity then I guess prices skyrocket compared the the ones I've been seeing. What do you thing of modding a 4x to Make what you want using 2x parts. Or you want a original one untouched? I'll keep a eye out and post if I see one. |
Re: 1972 2wd blazer price?
Cl add deleted. Is his truck yours?

Re: 1972 2wd blazer price?
If you love the ride the price is worth it. I hope you were able to score it!

Re: 1972 2wd blazer price?
I think I know this guy, he lives in San Dimas right ?
|
Re: 1972 2wd blazer price?
Yep looks like same one. Over 8 grand bids and the reserves not met. I guess he didn't like your 15000 offer. See what happens on eBay bidding wars.
|
Re: 1972 2wd blazer price?
If I owned it,... it would take at least $20k to buy it.
There are more people with money,... than there are these old 2wd blazers. And I would never paint it. |
Re: 1972 2wd blazer price?
Good deal. I saw it on E-bay!

Re: 1972 2wd blazer price?
So was black interior an option on the Ochre Blazers? It wasn't on the trucks (only saddle or parchment was offered on Ochre trucks iirc)

mine's white top, Ochre w/black interior also. I have the orig seats and keep wondering how it'd look in houndstooth. Mine had white sunvisors, I changed them to black.

Re: 1972 2wd blazer price?
the knowledge on this simple thread is awesome...i love this forum and a nice 2wd k5. how sacrilegious is it to convert a 4x4 to a 2wd?
I saw street trucks do it and makes sense considering how cheap you can get a 4x4 and the number of aftermarket cross-members... |

Not nearly as sacrilegious as converting a 2wd to a 4x4  I think it would be mostly frowned upon by 2wd owners. Some potential 2wd buyers might not even realize that a real 2wd comes with coils. |
